- GLOTRENDS NVMe adapter card is apply to all kinds of M.2 NVMe/AHCI SSD, and transparent to the operating system and no driver required.
- Supports any OS like Windows, Mac and Linux.
- Go to NVMe SSD manufacture website for driver installation if your PC can not recognize M.2 NVMe SSD.
- Attention should be paid to win7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, which need addtional driver installation for NVMe SSD.
- OS booting from NVMe SSD is a little complicated, Win10 is recommend.
Prerequisites include:
- OS support NVMe (Native or additional driver);
- 64-bit OS for UEFI support. Consult motherboard manufacture for installation steps.
Note:
- Please make sure M.2 PCIE NVME SSD. If M.2 SATA_based SSD, can not work with this product.
- If your SSD can not be recognized in PC, try to right click "PC"---"Manager"---"Disk Manager",and format your SSD.
- Note: Win7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 are not compatible with NVME SSD, NVMe native driver for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 is available from SSD manufacture website.
- Mac Pro 2009, 2010 and 2012 models support PCIe-AHCI SSD only. Make sure insert or remove SSD when power is off.
